My Scale

So, I weighed myself again after I got home. I put it in the kitchen this time, and put it in a place where there weren't any grooves in the tiles, the same place I got my 151 yesterday. Today it read 150.4. Thats more like it. I'm going to amend my weight loss.
I first weighed myself in the bathroom to get my 151.4, the same place that kept giving me varying weights. I moved it to the kitchen where it gave me my 155, that I said nope to at the time. I didn't want to believe that I had manage to gain back almost ALL the weight I had lost...but, I believe that this is the actual weight.

From past experiences with Weight Watchers, I know whats the norm for week one, and thats it.

Now, week 2, that'll be the challenge.

Ooh, I also found a multivitamin that doesn't make me sick! Another step towards being healthy!

Eating Patterns and New Things!

While I was packing up my food for the day, I started thinking about how the times that I eat.

I get to work at 7:30 and eat breakfast there. Not only do I not really have time while getting ready at home to stop and eat breakfast, eating breakfast at work kills a good 30 minutes. I usually check/update blogs, go through my work email, etc.

I don't usually need a snack between breakfast and lunch, although occassionally I'll start getting really hungry and will eat something so that when it comes lunch time, I'm not ready to scarf everything in sight. Today, however, I drank 2 bottles of water and was pretty satisfied until lunch.

I eat lunch right at noon, and will have a combo of entree, side and dessert. All diet friendly of course.

At about 3, I start getting the munchies. I'm not necessarily hungry, but this is right about when cravings start to happen.

By 5, I'm starving, and will have a snack, but, I continue to be hungry. Here's where things get tricky. I can eat dinner now, but I'll probably be ready to snack later in the evening. It doesn't help that Josh will come home from work around 8:30 and most likely eat something that is on my "Do Not Eat" list. He'll usually leave some at the end for me to finish.

I've been good, for the most part, not great, but I haven't fallen completely over the deep-end. Just kinda peeked over for a few seconds.

So thats usually how my day goes. Now for the new things!
I bought 6 work-out dvd's.
One is called Skinny Bitch Fitness: Boot Camp, and the other one is a 5 DVD Set by Jillian Michaels of Biggest Loser

I'm pretty excited to get them. Going to work out on the treadmill at the gym gets boring. Sure it burns calories and fat, but how far is walking/jogging going to get me. These will help work out my entire body and burn calories.

The reviews about Jillians DVD's are pretty scary. Many said its not good for beginners, but some people said they saw results pretty quickly. I'm going to start with the Skinny Bitch Fitness (love that title) and work myself up to Jillians.

Who knows, you might even see me in a bikini this summer!

Evil Scale

I'm angry at my scale. Because the weight varies so much, I have no clue if I'm getting the accurate weight, or that my starting weight was accurate to begin with.
I weighed myself yesterday and got anything from 157 - 151. I decided to go with the 151. That has me questioning my starting weight. I was eating so horribly, and drastically changed my eating habits that my week one weight loss should have been a lot more.

I know I shouldn't let this discourage me, and that if I do it long enough, I'll see the changes in my body and not the scale, but, its important to see the progress you are making.

I've done really well this past week, and am looking forward to continuing this. I can imagine myself 6 months from now, being 15-20lbs lighter, and its a goal I know I can get to. I'm looking forward to being healthier and more in shape, and not have to worry if my jeans are going to fit once I take them out of the dryer. I'm looking forward to being comfortable in my own skin again.

My coworker was talking about her Wii last night and how she broke into a sweat working on her Wii Fit, and its making me want one so bad. I could even wake up a bit earlier and do that in the morning before work, and then do the treadmill after work. I'm ready to lose this weight, and ready to work at it.

I made it one week!

So, today marks one week of my diet journey. I had 3 not so great days, but not awful days. My Panda Express was my shameful moment. However, I feel even more motivated then when I started, which probably is a good thing being that most people are giving up by now.

BTW, rest of points for yesterday:
Breakfast/Lunch - 11 points
Salad: 4
WW Ice Cream Bar: 1
2 WW Cookies: 2
Fruit Snack: 2
Total - 20pts for the day. 1pt Less then my requirement which is AWESOME! Especially with all that exercise!

I went to Ralphs yesterday and stocked up on more stuff. I know if the fridge is full, I'll continue to eat healthy. It's when the fridge is getting bare, and theres nothing in there that I want to eat when I opt for a non-healthy fast food alternative. We got a lot of fruits and veggies and I picked up some slim fasts, and yogurt and a couple of lean cuisines. I'll ease myself back into them as I'm just sooo tired of them.

And always, going to try and drink more water!
